Travel and Tourism is an exciting, dynamic industry that offers a broad range of job opportunities in airlines, tour operators, travel agencies, hotels and the hospitality sector, visitor attractions, venues and tourist boards.

This course, which has been running for 20 years, offers internationally- recognised industry relevant qualifications taught by an academic staff with relevant and diverse industry experience.

Many employers in the travel industry contact the college directly when recruiting staff. Work experience is an integral component of this course. Previous students have obtained work placements across the Travel and Tourism sector.

This one year course is designed to prepare students for all aspects of the growing tourism sector in Ireland. This course provides students with the necessary skills to take up employment in the Tourism industry or in the travel area as members of Airline Cabin Crew and Travel Consultancy. The course also includes a unique Cabin Crew Course, accredited by International Academy of Travel (IAOT). This course also gives students the possibility to be selected for an Erasmus exchange.

This course will enable learners to gain the relevant knowledge, skills and competence to deepen their understanding of the dynamic tourism industry.

The aim of this programme is to enable the learner to independently and effectively carry out a range of information, administrative and service functions in tourism-related enterprises or to progress to further or higher education and training.

On this course you will acquire the knowledge and confidence to pursue a career in the dynamic and exciting Tourism Event Management industry. You will study business, marketing, entrepreneurial skills, and human resource management necessary for business and organisational skills.

The aim of this Tourism & Hospitality degree is to develop the operational skills of a graduate to work within the tourism sector. This programme is experiential in nature and combines practical classes, field trips and work experience all of which will equip a graduate to work in the area of tourism and hospitality both here in Ireland and around the world.

This one year full-time course provides students with the practical skills and knowledge necessary for the dynamic world of Tourism and Event Management. This course is designed to help students develop the essential skills and techniques which form the basis for a career in tourism, business or the hospitality industry. The course comprises both theoretical and practical modules, and students will gain an understanding of business and marketing.

This course aims to give students a detailed understanding of the Tourism Industry in Ireland. It provides learners with the necessary skills to work as cabin crew and passenger service agents, including the use of industry specific IT applications e.g Amadeus. Students will gain experience in a Tourism related business by completing a work placement during the course.
