A core element of the learning experience is the direct collaboration with Music Performance students to produce annual live events, allowing learners to apply their skills in high-pressure, real-world environments.

This 1 year, full-time course is suitable for learners interested in a career in radio, music, sound engineering, music promotion and or professional DJ’ing. Learners are given the opportunity to pursue a career in DJ’ing, radio production and sound engineering. The course aims to provide the learner with the skills to develop their own natural abilities in music production performance and radio broadcasting.

Spanish introduces students to the literatures, histories, cultures and language of the Spanish-speaking world. Students learn more about Spain and Latin America and study different periods from early modern (Golden Age) Spain and colonial Latin America to twenty-first century Spain and contemporary Latin America.

Spanish and Portuguese is an integrated degree which enables students to gain an in-depth knowledge of two major world languages, and the modules on offer reflect the diversity of cultures in Spanish and Portuguese-speaking countries across the globe.

All students follow modules in Spanish and in Portuguese language which are of a broadly communicative nature, focusing on contemporary Spanish/Hispanic and Lusophone social and cultural issues and drawing on authentic materials. Within the Modern Languages programme you study two modern European languages to degree level. It is the most intensive exposure to languages and cultures that Trinity College has to offer. You will be able to prepare for a career as a Special Needs Assistants in primary and secondary school classrooms or special schools, assisting children with everyday practical tasks.

This one-year Special Needs Assistant course will provide students with the knowledge, skills and qualifications necessary to pursue a career in the area of Special Needs Assisting. Students will receive training in the skills, knowledge and understanding of the role of the special needs assistant in different settings. This is a full-time one-year course and runs from September to May.

The purpose of this course is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skill and competence in the practices and principles underpinning the role of a Special Needs Assistant to enable the learner to work effectively under direction in a special needs capacity.
