he BSc (Hons) in Sports Coaching provides students (aspiring coaches) with advanced coaching techniques, styles, and education through a variety of sports (e.g. team, individual, outdoor pursuit), including inclusivity and disabilities. This multidisciplinary programme will ensure students learn effective coaching techniques and have a scientific understanding of anatomy, physiology, sport psychology, fundamentals of movement, talent development, and the ability to analyse and critique technique. This one year course provides students with the opportunity to pursue further studies in Sports Injuries and Physical Therapy. The majority of students successfully completing this course progress onto Third Level Degree Programmes.
