The BA (Hons) in Creative Media places a strong emphasis on creativity, collaboration, design and innovation, and developing students’ practical skills to a high standard. Students are also encouraged to develop the theoretical skills necessary to critically analyse key media issues, both in terms of its technological manifestation and its social impact.

For individuals who want to have an introduction to the key skills needed to work in the Creative Media industry and many other industries, where digital images/video can be used for promotional purposes. A course designed for those who have an interest in computer graphics, digital animation, cinematography, digital film editing and the craft of film production. Students will get a good working knowledge of film production technologies and training in the use of the Adobe Creative Suite of software.

This course is designed to equip the learner with a high level of practical knowledge, skill and competence within a broad range of subjects related to the dynamic digital media and web design industry. The range of industries represented by digital media production includes media such as film and television, digital marketing, digital publishing, animation and digital games.

We place emphasis on the core areas of the digital media discipline including interface development for varied digital environments, digital movie processing and editing techniques, creative project development and print-based media as well as digital marketing. These core areas are underpinned by a strong focus on digital design principles. Learners who successfully complete the course are equipped with specialist knowledge and skills directly relevant to the digital media field and will hold a qualification in a dynamic multimedia discipline.

This one year course is designed to introduce students to the dynamic, creative field of Multimedia. Students will develop proficient skills using core applications within the Adobe Creative Suite of software and will also develop key skills relating to time management, team-work, and independent study skills. Digital photography will equip learners with the essential skills necessary for controlled image making, covering camera settings, techniques, studio lighting, composition, editing and presentation. The purpose of this award is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skill and competence to work in a creative media setting, using some initiative and independence while under general direction and or to progress to further or higher education and training.

On this course, you will learn the fundamentals of marketing and media analysis, while also developing your creative ability using computers.

The BFA program examines all of the main areas of creative writing, with introductory courses on the discipline as a whole, courses on the technical requirements and the analysis of creative writing, and specific courses exploring the practical aspects of composing novels, short stories, poems, scripts and screenplays. As the student progresses, the program makes increasing use of the workshop method of teaching, and in the final stages there are opportunities for approved students to undertake extended independent writing projects. The student may combine the major in creative writing with other majors offered by the institution, depending on his or her interests; these include performing arts, liberal arts and international business, either as a double major or as minors.

This one year course provides an extensive introduction to a wide range creative writing, media, literature, and culture.

Participants will produce writing for fiction, scripts for theatre, television, radio, and film, as well as for journalism. Students will be introduced to a wide range of literature appropriate to all modules on offer, and there are numerous opportunities to attend theatre productions, films, media events, and other cultural events throughout the year.

On completion, each student will have an exciting portfolio, a selection of which will be professionally published in the end of year publication.

You will also learn how to present your creative work online with key skills such as script writing, photography, content layout and image editing.

he BA (Criminal Justice) is a four-year, inter-disciplinary degree programme. In each semester, you will study a combination of modules from Law, Sociology, Politics and Public Administration. An exposure to each of these disciplines ensures that you will develop a comprehensive understanding of the criminal justice system and how it reacts to and regulates the society within which it operates. To further enhance your learning during the programme, you will study some Psychology modules which will aid in understanding human behaviour and the motivations of those who commit crime along with the behaviors of other actors in the criminal justice system such as police, judges and juries. Modules in Management will also give you core skills which are essential for future administrative roles within the criminal justice sector.

The BA (Hons) in Criminal Justice Studies is a three year degree course designed to equip the student with general knowledge and transferable skills while focusing on the broad theme of criminal justice. It is a multidisciplinary course.

Criminology can be described as the study of crime, criminal behaviour and society’s reaction to it. This three-year degree programme allows students to study criminology in depth, equipping you with the skills to examine criminal behaviour and understand what drives it.

This full-time one-year programme will examine the area of criminology, in particular criminal behaviour and criminal law. It will give students the knowledge, skill and competence of the principles and practice underpinning criminal law and the application of criminal law in legal practice.
