Visual Communication is the art of problem- solving and communication through the use of type, space, and image. You will produce artwork for print, interface design, motion graphics, illustration, photography, typography, packaging, branding, advertising campaigns and much more!

The three-year course is designed to facilitate a transition from novice student to creative practitioner. Students are taught a variety of design and pratical skills to achieve this.

Visual merchandising is the practice in the retail industry of developing floor plans and three-dimensional displays to maximise sales.

You’ll develop mastery in the theory and strategies of visual merchandising, practical competence in the skills needed for retail display, and an understanding of brand image and consumer behaviour and be able to operate at a high level in the retail industry.

This programme will allow you to develop a range of skills for professional vocal performance in a variety of contexts.  You will also develop your scholarly knowledge and inquiry through engaging academic studies focused on singing and artistic practice in educational, social, community and health settings.

You will focus and advance your vocal performance practice through individual voice lessons combined with group performance, ensemble and musicianship classes. Vocalists engaged in this course at the Irish World Academy will explore a range of vocal styles and traditions. Students enter the programme from popular (CCM), music theatre/stage school, singer/songwriter, folk, sacred or choral backgrounds (among others). This practical, entry-level program is designed to equip learners with the fundamental technical  curriculum that  focuses on mastering basic welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and Manual Metal Arc (Stick) welding. Students will gain hands-on experience in joining various metals, interpreting technical drawings, and understanding the properties of different materials.
