Much of the teaching is provided through the target language. The third year is spent at a university or business school in Germany.

The curriculum focuses on essential HR operations, including recruitment and selection, employment legislation, training and development, payroll, and team motivation strategies. To bridge the gap between theory and practice, students participate in integrated weekly work experience alongside an intensive two-week block placement, gaining valuable, supported hands-on experience in a practical human resources role.

The BBs (Hons) in Business Studies with Event Management includes both the creative and business aspects of event management. You will study the core business principles of accounting, economics, risk management and insurance, human resource management and marketing. Students taking BBS with French will study the French language stream throughout the four years of the programme, along with their regular Business subjects.

The course offers a wide range of subjects that provide learners with the opportunity to gain knowledge in many areas of business and particularly in areas of IT and Accounting. It provides learners with the ability to produce financial statements, using the most up to date accounting software. It provides the chance to obtain up to date IT skills and knowledge of e-business relevant for the modern business environment.

This is a one-year full-time programme that provides learners with a broad introduction to marketing, economics and accounting combined with intensive training in IT and computerised accounts.

Learners will also gain a strong introduction to the three main business subjects – Economics, Marketing and Accounting.

This Pre-University course is an excellent foundation for those wishing to pursue higher education degree programmes in UCD, TU Dublin, DCU, TCD, NUI Maynooth and other colleges.

This one-year course will provide students with the business skills in addition to the sports/fitness qualifications they need to obtain work in a wide variety of settings. It includes a QQI Level 5 Certificate in Sports, Recreation & Exercise Award as well as an internationally recognised Gym Instruction qualification. There are growing opportunities in this sector due to national strategies in exercise and sport participation.
