The BA in Communications is a three-year full-time programme which aims to give learners an introduction to communications platforms including photography, radio, journalism, and TV. In this course, you’ll learn the knowledge and skills you need to work in community development and youth work. Subjects include sociology, psychology, community development, social policy, addiction, human rights, youth development and social entrepreneurship. The course has a strong element of experiential learning and involves fieldwork placements.

The BA in Community and Youth Work is a fully integrated programme of education and training in both community and youth work. Community work is concerned with the development and empowerment of communities through facilitating the active participation of people in addressing issues that affect them collectively.
