For applicants who already know what area of business they would like to study, they can choose from Business TU772 (BUS), Business with IT TU772 (BIT) or International Business TU772 (INB).

Applicants who are unsure what area of Business is best for them can choose General Entry TU772 (GEN).

The Higher Certificate in Business & Management is a two-year theoretical and practical introduction to fundamentals principles of business management. It seeks to provide those completing the course with a foundation for a career path in business management.

In this two-year course, you’ll gain the practical skills and knowledge required at junior executive level and be ready for further study. Subjects include marketing, behavioral science, business finance, communications, information technology, business and society, sales management, web design, marketing practice, management accounting, marketing communications.

This course introduces the student to fundamental principles of retail management and is ideal for securing junior trainee management positions in the retail sector.

It give the student an understanding of business fundamentals of finance, technology, management, marketing & economics as well as specialist fundamentals in Geographical Information Systems, Internet technologies for retailing, store atmospherics, retail analytics and the workings of the ‘new digital economy’.

This three-year honours degree programme gives students the best of both perspectives, combining a well- developed understanding of the world of general business and people management in the first two years of their studies, whilst also providing a strong HRM focus in the final year of the degree.

The Information Systems (IS) pathway of the BA (Hons) Business is designed to be specifically relevant to the modern business environment in which the role of information systems has become increasingly important.

This IS pathway aims to provide students with the skills, knowledge and competences in the use of systems and related-technologies to control and manage organisational data and information.

Our Bachelor of Business (Hons) in Accounting degree adds up to a successful career in the world of accounting and finance. Few careers can be more fulfilling or exciting than accountancy. Our accounting courses attract the maximum exemptions from the examinations of professional accountancy bodies including ICA, ACCA, CPA and CIMA (subject to annual review). Graduates will also have the opportunity to progress onto the MA in Accounting which offers even further significant exemptions. 

This course is a QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate and is a progression course for any student who already has a QQI Level 5 Certificate or equivalent and for mature students who may have industry experience.

The course is designed to maximise the advanced-entry options to a range of degree programmes across our partner, higher-education colleges in Dublin.
