This module will equip the learner with knowledge, skill and competence in the selection, planning and maintenance of trees and shrubs.

This course will give you the opportunity to gain work placement with major media companies in Ireland and train in technical media production skills. It is a fully funded training programme which includes software, equipment, guest speakers, industry certification and excursions. Work and Train with likeminded media professionals in an exciting environment while gaining the skills to enable you to work in the TV & Film industry.

Applicants who are currently in receipt of a Social Welfare payment may continue to receive that payment for the duration of the course.

This one-year course builds foundational skills in film and TV production, including cinematography, lighting, and post-production. Learners gain hands-on experience in a live multi-camera studio and by directing their own short films and documentaries. Graduates finish with a professional portfolio and a direct pathway to BIFE’s Higher National Diploma in TV & Film.

This course is designed to provide learners with an introduction to key skills required to work in the Film & TV sector. Students will develop an understanding of scripting, storyboarding, capturing and editing video and post production using industry standard software in a modern production suite.

This course is designed for those who wish to up-skill for employment or prepare a portfolio for TV and Film or Media Studies in higher education. Students will gain practical hands on experience, learn about the Film industry and have full access to the Adobe Creative Suite for the duration of the course.

This film and television production course serves as an excellent foundation for progressing to prestigious degree programs at IADT (National Film School), DCU, TU Dublin, and other universities. Students acquire essential, hands-on skills in single-camera production, scriptwriting, photography, and non-linear video editing, while exploring media analysis to understand the dynamics between producers, advertisers, and audiences. By creating a diverse portfolio of creative work, graduates are highly prepared to apply for advanced higher education opportunities or enter the media industry directly.

TV & Media Production is a practical, hands-on course. You will work in groups and individually to develop ideas from script to screen. This course teaches a wide range of skills covering each stage of media production. Research and producing, script writing, camera work, graphics, audio and video editing are all taught over the three years - providing a solid, practical foundation for future work in the media industry. 

The Bachelor of Science Honours degree in TV and Media Production is a hands-on course where students find themselves completely immersed in the practical world of media production.

On this four-week intensive course, participants will explore the full potential of typographic communication, from the expressive to the functional, through the creation of a visual identity project for a location in Dublin.

Participants will learn about typographic research methodologies and typographic meaning, typographic systems and multilingual typography, and crafting logotypes and letterforms.

This course will educate you to the best international standards in veterinary medicine and is accredited nationally by the Veterinary Council of Ireland (VCI), by the European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education (EAEVE) and is one of only 6 veterinary schools in Europe currently accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). The veterinary profession is concerned with the promotion of the health and welfare of animals of special importance to society. This involves the care of healthy and sick animals, the prevention, recognition, control and treatment of their diseases and of diseases transmitted from animals to man, and the welfare and productivity of livestock.

This five-year programme will consist of three phases: foundation, clinical and professional. The foundation and clinical phases, will provide students with an in-depth understanding of the relevant, underpinning scientific and clinical concepts and related industry context via a Scaffolded Active Learning style curriculum, to motivate students to learn in an active, collaborative manner. The final professional phase of the MVB programme employs a fully distributed model of clinical education.
