After Year 3, students may choose to continue their study in that computer programme to acquire a Level 8 honours degree (all but Games Development offer a Level 8 degree).

Such information can provide competitive advantages over rival organizations and result in business benefits, such as more effective marketing and increased revenue. Data Science has in turn been the big enabler for the expansion of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a truly mass-market technology. AI relies on the patterns found in data to make decisions.  

This program at Dublin College Blackrock (formerly BFEI) is a practical, one-year course designed to bridge the gap between traditional administrative roles and the modern digital workplace. Located in Blackrock village, this course focuses on equipping students with the essential IT and organizational skills required for both on-site and remote work environments. Students receive comprehensive training in the Microsoft 365 suite, mastering file sharing, remote collaboration, and industry-standard applications. By blending core business administration with advanced digital proficiency, the program ensures graduates can confidently navigate contemporary office technologies and effectively manage digital workflows.
