Early Irish is the language in use in Ireland from the earliest period for which there are records up to the year 1200. The BA in Early Childhood Care and Education is a full-time, four-year, honours degree programme (Level 8), designed to provide an exciting and challenging programme for those interested in working with young children, from birth to six years of age, in a range of educational settings.

Courses which lead to an QQI Level 5 and 6 in Early Childhood Care Education run exclusively at our Tralee centre.

This course enables students to acquire practical skills with a host company in a skill area of their choice. The course is a combination of on-the-job and in-centre training. The EBT co-ordinator will support both the student and employer.
