This full-time one-year course is suited to anyone interested in the area of Psychology. It will equip students with a good grounding in theories of behaviour and society which they can bring into further study in Arts or Psychology degrees. It is also a good introduction for anyone thinking of switching into this area.

The BA (Hons) in Psychology is taught over 3 years full-time (or 4 years part-time). In the programme, learners engage with the core areas of psychology, including developmental, social, and cognitive psychology, abnormal psychology, psychotherapy, and neuropsychology.

A significant component of the programme is also dedicated to equipping learners with a strong capability in research methods, culminating in an independent research project.

The BSc in Psychology and Mathematics is the first course in Ireland to integrate these subjects, preparing students for a career combining the interpretation of human behaviour with high-level numeracy, analytical and problem-solving skills.

The Introduction to Psychology program is a social science foundation course designed to explore human behavior, cognitive processes, and emotional dynamics. Students are introduced to the fundamental theoretical frameworks of psychological research, human interaction, and behavioral analysis. This four year honours degree in Psychology & Sociology provides you with a broad introduction to both disciplines in the first year, followed by coverage of the core areas of Psychology required for accreditation including: social, developmental, personality, biological and cognitive psychology as well as research methods and statistics. The BSc (Hons) in Public Health & Health Promotion (formerly the BA (Hons) in Health Promotion) is a full-time, four year, honours degree course of study that can be chosen within the Health Sciences Common Entry Route. This four year, honours degree course (chosen via the Health Sciences Common Entry Route) is approved by the International Union for Health Promotion and Education, which allows graduates to register as Accredited Public Health and Health Promotion Practitioners with diverse career opportunities in health services, industry, communities, charitable and voluntary organisations, working to improve the health and wellbeing of populations and individuals. This course aims to give you practical skills to work with a wide range of population groups in a wide range of settings about a wide range of health related topics (e.g. mental health, physical activity, and the environment).

Public Health Nutrition involves the promotion of good health through nutrition and the primary prevention of nutrition-related illness in the population. It focuses on applying food and nutrition knowledge, policy and research to improving the nutritional health of the population and high-risk or vulnerable subgroups within the population.

This public health nutrition degree has an international perspective. It examines how global, national and local community programmes can be designed to improve the nutritional status of the population as a whole and those at particular risk.
