Dunboyne College’s Film and Media Production course is ideal for anyone with an interest in film and visual storytelling who wishes to explore the creative and technical aspects of filmmaking. It offers a solid introduction to key areas such as camera work, directing, editing, and scriptwriting. Through hands-on experience with industry-standard equipment and software, students gain the skills and confidence needed to begin working in the field or to progress to further study.

This one-year, 48-week traineeship provides a comprehensive blend of classroom theory and practical work experience tailored for the accounting and payroll sectors. Students earn industry-standard qualifications, including the ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business and the QQI Level 6 Special Purpose Award in Payroll Techniques (IPASS). The program features 12 weeks of integrated industry placements, allowing learners to apply their knowledge in real-world settings while maintaining a strong academic foundation at BCFE.

On completion participants will be able to outline the safe operation of a chainsaw during use including interpreting safety decals, safety devices fitted to the chainsaw and cross cutting operations and be capable of completing a number of chainsaw cutting techniques correctly and safety ensuring that the correct storage including cleaning, sharpening and setting is completed.

This hands-on, immersive sculpting workshop takes participants from concept and anatomy study through to a finished character bust over five intensive studio days. An initial online orientation covers design principles, materials, and preparation. The in-studio block then focuses on practical sculpting techniques — from blocking and anatomy to surface detail and final presentation.

You will be studying an exciting mixture of modules including how to make medicines and how to control the quality of those medicines. Year one involves the study of a range of Science modules, and the subject matter covered in year two of this course includes Chemistry, Analysis of materials, Computing and Microbiological analysis. The course will introduce students to the importance of quality control and quality management in the manufacturing and processing of pharmaceutical and healthcare products. 

The B.E. (Hons.) Chemical & Biochemical Engineering provides an interesting, intellectually challenging, and educationally rigorous degree programme that leads to a professionally recognised qualification and good employment prospects in any of a variety of stable, sustainable, well-paid careers. This degree programme comprises formal lectures/study, practical laboratories, workshops, training on industry-standard process engineering software, project work, as well as a substantial Cooperative Education period working in an industrial placement.
