The BBs (Hons) in Business Studies with Event Management includes both the creative and business aspects of event management. There is a full semester of work placement and/or the option to study at one of our partner universities across Europe, as well as regular field trips and guest lectures.

You will study the core business principles of accounting, economics, risk management and insurance, human resource management and marketing. Students taking BBS with French will study the French language stream throughout the four years of the programme, along with their regular Business subjects.

You will study the core business principles of accounting, economics, risk management and insurance, human resource management and marketing. Students taking BBS with Spanish (Beginners or Advanced) will study the Spanish language stream throughout the four years of the programme, along with their regular Business subjects 

This one-year course will provide students with the business skills in addition to the sports/fitness qualifications they need to obtain work in a wide variety of settings. It includes a QQI Level 5 Certificate in Sports, Recreation & Exercise Award as well as an internationally recognised Gym Instruction qualification. There are growing opportunities in this sector due to national strategies in exercise and sport participation.
