The BA (Hons) Marketing focuses on core areas of marketing such as communications, planning, management, consumer behaviour, services marketing, marketing research, strategic marketing digital marketing and events marketing. It aims to develop learners' knowledge of the theory and practice of marketing, necessary for them to secure employment and perform in all key areas of marketing in a broad range of employment environments.

The aim of our BA (Hons) in Marketing programme is to provide a solid foundation for students to become effective marketing professionals within a contemporary business environment. The aim of this one year full time course is to provide the learner with the opportunity to acquire the knowledge, skills and competence to work in a marketing and/or business environment. It provides an introduction to the principle elements of marketing skills and practices.

The programme also includes related study areas such as economics, behavioural studies, business skills and communications, to provide a firm foundation for the learner. Extra supports are also available, where necessary, with literacy, numeracy, IT, career guidance and counselling.

The BA (Hons) in Marketing & Digital Media is a four year degree course, which prepares students for employment in marketing in the digital age.
