The International Business Degree is designed to create a ‘Business Ready’ Graduate. Students will be well prepared for a role on a marketing team, whether in a small firm, a large corporation or a not-for-profit organisation. The modules introduce students to the study of consumer behaviour, marketing research, marketing communications, financial management, international marketing, digital marketing and web design.

Students who complete this programme and achieve this award are prepared to gain positions of responsibility in marketing. Students are well prepared for a role on a marketing team, whether in a small firm, a large corporation or a not-for-profit organisation. The modules introduce students to the study of consumer behaviour, marketing research, marketing communications, financial management, international marketing, digital marketing and web design. As part of the Events management module, for example, student will organise an event on campus and raise money for a charity of choice.

A wide range of subjects are covered, from Economics Fundamentals, Leadership, Business Information Systems and Organisational Behavior to Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Intercultural Studies and Global Marketing. Languages are core to this course and are studied for the duration of the course.

This course will provide you with a solid grounding in general business and competencies in key areas such as finance, economics and accounting.

You’ll gain knowledge and skills in a broad range of business-related modules, including Accounting, Finance, Management, Marketing and Information Systems, and be able to apply this knowledge to different environments and industries. You’ll also develop good communication and writing skills.

The Higher Certificate in Business & Management is a two-year theoretical and practical introduction to fundamentals principles of business management. It seeks to provide those completing the course with a foundation for a career path in business management.

In this two-year course, you’ll gain the practical skills and knowledge required at junior executive level and be ready for further study. Subjects include marketing, behavioral science, business finance, communications, information technology, business and society, sales management, web design, marketing practice, management accounting, marketing communications.

This three-year honours degree programme gives students the best of both perspectives, combining a well- developed understanding of the world of general business and people management in the first two years of their studies, whilst also providing a strong HRM focus in the final year of the degree.

The Information Systems (IS) pathway of the BA (Hons) Business is designed to be specifically relevant to the modern business environment in which the role of information systems has become increasingly important.

This IS pathway aims to provide students with the skills, knowledge and competences in the use of systems and related-technologies to control and manage organisational data and information.

The 3 year Bachelor of Business (Hons) degree equips graduates to succeed on the global business stage by enabling them to be forward thinking and have the capacity to act as catalysts for growth in organisations. This degree reflects the intrinsic need to develop the next generation of leaders who understand how to manage innovation and drive an organisation forward in the digital age.

This three-year programme engages learners in all key marketing disciplines while also giving them grounding in broader business disciplines. The BA in Marketing at Griffith College gives learners the opportunity to develop marketing skills and gain an understanding of business. By developing their marketing skills in the broader business context, learners are perfectly placed to become dynamic team players in any business environment. 

Our BA (Hons) in Business (Marketing) is available on a full, part-time and blended learning basis over a three-year period. The purpose of the programme is to inspire and nurture a student’s interest in the marketing discipline, while providing a solid foundation in business subjects.
