A 2 year course in classical hand-drawn and computer animation, including character animation, 3d modelling, animating for Feature, TV or Games. This course gives budding artists the chance to express themselves artistically through the medium of animation, both classical (hand-drawn) and computer generated. This dynamic course provides the skills to take individual and group projects from conception to completion. The course aims to enable the student to develop a comprehensive understanding of the principles and techniques employed by the professional animator and to acquire the requisite skills for entry into feature, TV or computer game animation.

Through the examination and contextualisation of literary works and the analysis of the main aspects of ancient history and art, you will develop a thorough knowledge of the classical world and a critical approach to Greek and Roman literature. All texts are studied in translation and no knowledge of Greek or Latin is required, but there are opportunities to study the languages at an introductory level.
