The purpose of this qualification is to meet the wide-ranging needs of the communications cabling industry which is part of the communication technologies sector. This programme combines directed off-the-job training (classroom-based learning) in an ETB Training Centre with on-the-job training (work-based learning) delivered in a host company. It is designed to enable trainees to achieve a City & Guilds Award in Communications Cabling Level 3 (NFQ Level 5).

The BA in Communications is a three-year full-time programme which aims to give learners an introduction to communications platforms including photography, radio, journalism, and TV. Through the study of relevant themes, you will study and examine societal injustice, legal studies, human rights and related debates that are relevant to society.
