Learners deepen their craft by working with large-format cameras and traditional darkroom practices, while simultaneously leveraging cutting-edge image-capture tools such as professional digital camera networks, film, and drones for still and video production. The program focuses on blending masterful technical skill with artistic, conceptual imagery. 

The Photography & Moving Image program offers a comprehensive, interdisciplinary exploration of contemporary visual storytelling, seamlessly bridging classical photographic techniques with advanced digital media production. The curriculum provides rigorous technical training in professional camera operation, advanced lighting studio dynamics, and on-location composition. Students gain hands-on expertise in both ends of the technological spectrum, learning to process traditional film in a darkroom while mastering the Adobe Creative Suite for state-of-the-art digital image editing, post-production, and video sequencing.

Its span of interest ranges from the nature of the short-range forces which operate inside the atomic nucleus to the origin and structure of the universe.

Physics studies how our Universe works, from the smallest atomic nucleus to the largest galaxy. It includes areas such as quantum theory, relativity and particle physics, and lies at the heart of most modern technology - for example the computer and the laser.

The aim of this programme is to satisfy those who have an interest in fundamental science, to find rewarding careers in the applications of physics to measurement science and technology. Non-destructive testing is a specialisation of the course, this is the science of testing materials and systems without dismantling or damage, utilising X-rays, ultrasound, scanning electron microscopes, etc.

There is a high emphasis on practical work and projects - the student completes a number of projects over the course of the programme, and these can range from building electronic guitars, to making heart monitors, to finding new ways to use electron microscopy.
