The aim of this programme is to enable the learner to acquire the knowledge, skills and competence to work under supervision in one of the following broad range of roles – as an assistant in Radio, Television, Film, Advertising, Publishing, Photo Imaging, Animation & Games industries or to progress to further and or higher education and training.

This one-year full time course equips the learner with the vocational skills and knowledge to work as a media professional both independently and in a supervisory capacity in a fully functioning radio station. In our Media Studies degree students will study the principles and practices of audio-visual production and interactive web authoring, how to research and analyse media cultures, genres and industries, and the role of media in society and politics.
