This Level 8 Programme culminates in a student capstone media production project offering students the opportunity to exhibit work to the public and industry at the annual LSAD Graduate show.

This Creative Ceramics course is designed for those with a strong interest in design and learning about ceramics and craft skills. This hands-on course provides practical demonstrations from artist teachers, as well as guest artists. Students have the opportunity to design and create a wide range of unique ceramic, sculptural, and printed pieces, as well as upcycling and using sustainable materials.

This is a three year course designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills and practical experience in computing and creative media. Students study approximately 60% computing in core areas, such as Web and Mobile Development, Networks and Databases, and 40% in creative media, such as UX Design, Graphic Design, Animation and Media Production.

Our students use industry standard innovative tools and technologies, to become proficient in programming and creative media to create custom-built interactive applications. 

This is a four year course designed to provide students with the knowledge and practical experience of industry standard innovative tools and technologies, within the domains of technology and creative media.

The course is primarily a computing course specialising in creative media, with approximately 60% computing content and 40% creative media content. It is a very practical based course where students develop skills through a strong emphasis on project work and continuous assessment. 

This one-year, NFQ Level 5 (MORNINGS) course is delivered over 5 mornings 9-2.15 which may suit learners who may have other commitments. This course equips the learner with the vocational skills and knowledge to explore and develop skills in fine art and craft disciplines.

Learners will draw and design in sketchbooks and research artists and critique their work. They will experiment with lots of different materials eg, clay, fine art embroidery, mixed media, fabric, printmaking etc. Learners will prepare a portfolio of work which can be used for portfolio assessment for Art College or other courses.

A full-time course in the arts and crafts with a strong emphasis on industry and the economic dimension of creativity.
