It offers a solid introduction to key areas such as camera work, directing, editing, and scriptwriting. Through hands-on experience with industry-standard equipment and software, students gain the skills and confidence needed to begin working in the field or to progress to further study.

This one-year, 48-week traineeship provides a comprehensive blend of classroom theory and practical work experience tailored for the accounting and payroll sectors. Students earn industry-standard qualifications, including the ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business and the QQI Level 6 Special Purpose Award in Payroll Techniques (IPASS). The program features 12 weeks of integrated industry placements, allowing learners to apply their knowledge in real-world settings while maintaining a strong academic foundation at BCFE.

This programme has been designed to enable participants to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to carry out risk assessment for chainsaw operations including maintenance and sawing and be able to complete maintenance to the chainsaw. On completion participants will be able to outline the safe operation of a chainsaw during use including interpreting safety decals, safety devices fitted to the chainsaw and cross cutting operations and be capable of completing a number of chainsaw cutting techniques correctly and safety ensuring that the correct storage including cleaning, sharpening and setting is completed.
