As part of the course students will complete 3 weeks work experience placement in a nursing home or hospital.

The Advanced Childhood Early Learning & Care course seeks to extend students knowledge in theoretical approaches and provides learners with the skills needed to work as a room leader/supervisor in a childcare setting.

Students of nursing learn about caring and the complexities of health and illness through interactive teaching and learning strategies in the classroom and the healthcare environment. Practice (clinical and community) experience provides the student with opportunities to integrate the art and science of nursing and promotes the development of caring relationships with patients and their families/significant others.

If you are a creative thinker interested in becoming a film director; screenwriter; film producer or production manager; cinematographer; art director, postproduction supervisor, film editor and colour grader; tv and commercial director or researcher then this course is an excellent way to gain the knowledge and experience needed to start your career.

This one-year course concentrates on developing students knowledge and practical skills in the art of cinematography and provides an opportunity to work with experienced teachers to kick-start a career in filmmaking and learn valuable skills needed to enter into the film industry.

Students will acquire practical skills in film camera operations with an emphasis placed on the roles and functions of the camera. These skills will be evidenced through practical projects using high end SONY digital cameras. The productions will ensure the acquisition of other important cinematography skills including lighting, digital editing, and scriptwriting. Students will also learn the art of traditional darkroom black and white portrait photography.

This 4-week blended course will equip industry professionals (textile and apparel designers, buyers, brands, manufacturers) with the most essential knowledge on the latest circular solutions, innovations, certifications and regulations, as well as the skillset and network needed to practically apply this know-how to your own business and design practice.

The course includes practical and academic areas and gives learners a chance to develop skills and knowledge and to experience the day-to-day procedures related to working in barbering.

You will study and practice all areas of barbering including consulting, hair and scalp analysis, shampooing and conditioning the hair and scalp, styling and finishing techniques, cutting techniques which include classic and creative cuts, clipper work, fading and chemical services.

This degree integrates an interdisciplinary approach that will deepen and broaden your understanding of environmental, social and economic issues, and sets these in a practical policy context. On entering first year, you will be introduced to a host of new ideas and concepts.
