This is a four year course designed to provide students with the knowledge and practical experience of industry standard innovative tools and technologies, within the domains of technology and creative media.

The course is primarily a computing course specialising in creative media, with approximately 60% computing content and 40% creative media content. It is a very practical based course where students develop skills through a strong emphasis on project work and continuous assessment. 

This is a one-year, full-time course designed to equip learners with the multidisciplinary technical and vocational skills required to excel in the fast-paced field of social media marketing. The curriculum is closely aligned with contemporary industry trends, placing a powerful emphasis on brand development, target audience engagement, and high-impact digital storytelling. Students undergo comprehensive training in audio and video production, commercial photography, advertising, and modern digital marketing strategies. A key feature of the program is its on-campus work experience, where students collaborate directly with College Management to build live promotional campaigns, gaining invaluable real-world experience, a robust professional portfolio, and employment references.

This Creative Digital Media course equips students with essential skills needed to thrive in the rapidly evolving landscape of digital media. Through hands-on projects, students gain practical experience and develop a deep understanding of the tools, techniques, and strategies utilised in the industry. By exploring cross-platform software on Apple Macs and Windows PCs, students learn to plan, design, and produce visually captivating websites enriched with a wide range of multimedia features. Industry-standard software such as Premiere Pro is used for recording and editing digital media, enabling students to create professional video content.

This one-year full-time course focuses on Digital Media, Game Design, Web Design, Digital Image Processing, Interactive Media Development, UX & UI Design, Digital marketing, Animation and 3D Graphics. Students use these core skills to design and develop, creative and interactive digital media projects. The course introduces students to the following industry standard software: Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, After Effects, XD and Cinema 4D. Premiere for video editing, Unity for game design and Blender for 3D. Students also explore third party plug-ins and open-source software. Students have access to the new Digi-Hub containing iMacs, VR glasses, portable green screens and other technology.

This course is an excellent foundation course for Media Degrees in IADT, ITT, DKIT, DIT, NUI Maynooth and other Universities and Institutes of Technology. Learners will create a portfolio of work including Radio, Film and Photography. This course enables the learner to develop a range of Techniques used in todays Digital Media. Learners will gain practical knowledge of how different media products are produced as well as an understanding of how the relationships between producer, financing and the audience impact on one another.

This full-time one-year programme provides students with an understanding of the digital skills required for a range of industries like web design, software development, games design, programming and digital marketing, among others. Students will also have an option to complete Microsoft Power BI which provides students with an opportunity to be versed in the most up-to-date data visualization software.
