The aim of our BA (Hons) in Marketing programme is to provide a solid foundation for students to become effective marketing professionals within a contemporary business environment. The programme will inspire participants to see the possibilities open to a business organisation of an effective implementation of up-to-date integrated marketing concepts and strategies, and the role of new technologies and innovative thinking in achieving these. It provides a comprehensive education in the digital and analytical skills that businesses need across a spectrum of marketing and sales practices. The role of the marketing professional is placed within the broader business context and is delivered through a range of business relevant modules.

This course aims to provide students with the skills and knowledge required to embark on a career in marketing. It may also provide a foundation for more advanced studies in marketing. Designed to foster entrepreneurial and technical skills, the program utilizes a mainly project-based assessment model where students gain hands-on experience by developing marketing plans for real-life brands. Learners benefit from small class sizes and have the unique option to study a modern language (French or Spanish) to enhance their global employability.

The aim of this one year full time course is to provide the learner with the opportunity to acquire the knowledge, skills and competence to work in a marketing and/or business environment. It provides an introduction to the principle elements of marketing skills and practices.

The programme also includes related study areas such as economics, behavioural studies, business skills and communications, to provide a firm foundation for the learner. Extra supports are also available, where necessary, with literacy, numeracy, IT, career guidance and counselling.

In this two-year course, you’ll gain the practical skills and knowledge required at junior executive level and be ready for further study. Subjects include marketing, behavioral science, business finance, communications, information technology, business and society, sales management, web design, marketing practice, management accounting, marketing communications.

This stream was developed in close discussion with practitioners from the communications and marketing industry and is ideal for those interested in building a career in marketing and communications within a technological skill base. It provides students with an opportunity to develop marketing skills, whilst also allowing them to develop digital marketing skills in an ever changing business environment.

Event management professionals are widely seen as important to the development and success of Irish business and the tourism industry. This stream will provide graduates with a blend of knowledge and skills to equip them for employment in positions in marketing and/or event management, or will alternatively enable them to proceed to postgraduate study.

The central focus of this programme is on specialist marketing and event management subjects. The programme also features a number of relevant business subjects, which extend the field of study to the broader business environment within which the event management and marketing functions are positioned.

Learners will explore the core concepts of brand identity and learn how to conceptualize and execute original design concepts. The curriculum focuses heavily on practical visual merchandising strategies, equipping students with the skills needed to design windows, create compelling in-store displays, manage online product styling, and dress dedicated event spaces.

The BA (Hons) in Marketing & Digital Media is a four year degree course, which prepares students for employment in marketing in the digital age. The first two semesters consist of general marketing and business subjects and then students study the specific marketing, advertising & media subjects from semesters 3-8.

This practical one-year business marketing course is designed to provide an excellent foundation for learners wishing to progress to Level 7/8 Business Degree Programmes at 3rd Level. This course will allow the learner to build skills in marketing, web design and communications. This course also provide learners with the core business skills required to entry the workplace

NCI’s BA (Honours) in Marketing Practice is a practical, hands-on degree that covers all the core marketing subjects such as brand management, consumer behaviour, digital marketing and entrepreneurship.

The final year concludes with an exciting capstone project, where you will work in teams developing real live business plans and platforms, where you will be expected to source products, develop marketing, communications and branding strategies in order to bring your ideas potential marketisation.
