Building on your level 5 qualifications, the QQI Advanced Certificate in Early Learning and Care focuses on the holistic development and learning of the child. This is year 2 of the Advanced Certificate in Early Learning and Care (Level 6). Learners will be provided with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to supervise in a range of Early Years services for children aged 0-6 years. The learners will have acquired the knowledge, skills and competence to work as autonomous practitioners and to take responsibility for a room or area in an ELC setting.

The ACCA qualification enjoys full international recognition which qualifies its members to work anywhere in the world.  All books and materials are supplied and this is included in your course fee. Students can sit the session CBEs in Rathmines College during the year.

This course will teach you how to sail and windsurf, drive a powerboat and paddle in a kayak on the river and sea. It allows you to become a Level 1 Kayaking Instructor, a Lowland Leader and a National Powerboat Certified Skipper, helping connect people to both coastal and forest environments. It will also give you the skills to pursue pathways toward both sailing and windsurfing instructorships after the course if you wish.

The aim of the BB in Rural Enterprise and Agri-Business is to provide the learner with a business education that emphasises the importance of rural enterprise and agri business by developing an understanding of the theory, concepts and methods as well as the practical implementation of a range of skills and tools in these areas.

If you have a particular interest in the design, manufacturing, operation and maintenance of agricultural machineries, then Agricultural Engineering is for you. Combining Agricultural Science and Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis on power, this degree is designed to deliver high-quality engineers to the agricultural and agri-food industry.

This course provides students with education and training to work within the area of Agricultural Technology. The focus of this course is firmly on the provision of skilled technicians for the farm machinery industry in Ireland. Course content includes tractor engineering and workshop process, machinery operation, electrical and electronic technology, administration and management, engineering science and mathematics, engineering drawing and CAD and computer studies, project and industrial placement together with a high degree of personal and practical skills. Students will be taught a mix of technology, practical, academic, administrative and managerial modules which will prepare them to carry out complex diagnostics and repairs of modern machinery and to be receptive to future technological developments to take advantage of vacancies that will arise within the industry.
