This course is relevant to students wishing to pursue a career in Architectural Technology / Building Design/ Building Management. Preparation of students for suitability tests and the preparation of portfolios for Architecture Courses are strong features of the course. This course is designed to develop the necessary skills and techniques of Computer Aided Draughting, Building Construction and Design.

This is a one-year common entry course to the honours degree courses in the Built Environment. Successful completion of this Common Entry Year will entitle the student to progress into Year 2 of the following courses, subject to availability of places:

• BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying
• BSc (Hons) in Construction Management
• BSc (Hons) in Property Valuation and Management*

This is a one year common entry stage to the honours degree programmes in the Built Environment. Successful completion of this Common Entry Year leads to admission to Stage 2 of the following programmes, subject to availability of places:
