This Pathways programme takes place with the employer and equips the learner with the vocational skills and knowledge with training and practical experience in the working environment. In addition, the mathematical and soft skills learned through the mathematics, communications and work experience modules will ensure that the learner progressing to an apprenticeship have the desired quality, suitability and competency for the courses.

This full-time one-year programme will introduce students to the world of Construction. The programme examines construction materials and safe methodologies, with emphasis on sustainable energy efficient dwellings and green technologies. Students will also attend training workshop, where they will examine a range of different construction methods, calculate the quantities of material required to construct a domestic dwelling, create AutoCAD drawings and experience first-hand the application of renewable energy technologies.
