Course work will consist of a combination of onsite & online learning. Visits are also arranged to businesses and events during the year.

This programme offers those currently employed or seeking employment in the hotel industry the opportunity to pursue a degree in hotel management while simultaneously working with their sponsoring employer. Each year the programme will comprise of the delivery of 60 credits of study through a blended learning approach. This programme will require students to spend two blocks of four weeks per annum at MTU Kerry North Campus’ state-of-the-art facilities in the Hotel, Culinary Arts and Tourism Department. During this period a number of modules will be delivered. The remaining modules will be delivered online and through work-based learning.

An exit award, the Higher Certificate in Hotel Supervisory Management, is available after successful completion of year two.

Human Biology is the integrated study of human anatomy and physiology, including the study of the body in health and disease. It covers a wide range of topics, ranging from genetics, microbiology and immunology to the core disciplines of anatomy, microanatomy and physiology.

The degree is designed to allow a greater degree of flexibility in the choice of modules, in comparison to the closely related degree in Biomedical Sciences.

The Human Health and Disease degree trains students for work in the field of biomedical research. ICT Networking is an introductory course for those who want to find out whether a career in the ICT industry is the right fit for them. It is ideally suited for students who aspire to apprenticeships in the ICT industry and related fields.
