Students of this course study the broad and expanding area of Information Technology (IT), including subjects in management science, computing, communications technology and human sciences. This level 8 honours DCU degree is delivered through online learning and so is more flexible than a full-time, or part-time, campus based programme.

During this course, you’ll come to develop the  professional knowledge, skills and attitudes you’ll need to care for people with intellectual disability.

Over the duration of the course, students will develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to meet the specific needs of people with an intellectual disability in a safe, competent, and compassionate manner. Student’s academic and clinical knowledge will be developed throughout this rewarding course using simulated learning environments and modern learning spaces.

RNIDs (Registered Nurses in Intellectual Disability) work to promote independence, health and quality of life, while advocating for each person’s rights, inclusion and dignity.
