This is a foundational training course designed to prepare learners for a professional career in the salon industry. This one year course is aimed at those who would like to pursue a career in hairdressing. Subjects within the course are tailored to suit the hairdressing industry and include cutting, styling, colouring, Hair-upstyling, Hair Extensions wigs, perming, and barbering techniques. 

Students will learn and practice their skills in the onsite hairdressing salons and will have the opportunity to work on models. Work experience is an integral part of the course enhancing employability skills.

This course is an introductory year to the three-year apprenticeship programme aimed at school leavers and mature applicants who are considering a career in the Hairdressing Industry.

A full-time component certificate course aimed to provide students with the opportunity to progress to a full Level 5 certificate Further Education course at WCFE. The course introduces students to methods of study, writing, research and IT skills. The course is aimed at students who do not have the entry requirement for courses at WCFE or the English language requirement for access to these courses.

The curriculum provides a comprehensive overview of the Irish education system while fostering essential professional traits such as critical reflection, interpersonal communication, and instructional skills. A unique feature of this course is the academic flexibility it offers, including the option to study Higher Level Leaving Certificate Irish and QQI Level 5 Mathematics, both of which are critical for meeting the entry requirements for Bachelor of Education degrees. 

This course is designed for aspiring Speech and Language Therapists, this program explores diverse communication styles and clinical codes essential for professional practice. Students learn to navigate the complexities of assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders across various settings, such as hospitals, schools, and health centers. By blending core healthcare values with practical skills in client care and patient handling, the course ensures graduates meet HSE standards and are fully prepared to support therapy programs in a clinical environment.

This full-time one-year programme is aimed at those who wish to pursue teaching as a career. It will concentrate on skills and knowledge essential to a teacher. It mainly prepares students for entry into Arts Degree programmes for second level teaching. Having completed this course students can apply for a Level 8 degree and then progress to a Professional Masters in Education Primary, subject to achieving the required grade in Irish.
