Co-funded by the Irish Government and the European Union, this course blends classroom theory with an extensive, year-long work experience component that allows students to apply their knowledge directly in real-world settings while showcasing their potential to prospective employers. To support learners, the traineeship provides additional financial benefits, including Training, Meal, Travel, or Accommodation allowances, alongside access to the National Childcare Scheme.

This full time Healthcare course combines the Healthcare Assistant qualification with specialist training as an Activities Coordinator in a Healthcare Setting. Students are equipped to work effectively as an Activities Coordinator or Healthcare Assistant in a variety of Healthcare settings. This course satisfies the qualification requirement for HCAs recommended by the Health Information Quality Authority (HIQA).
