This course provides a hands-on introduction to the leisure and fitness industry, prioritizing a "learning by doing" approach through intensive practical modules. In addition to earning a QQI Level 5 Award in Sports, Recreation, and Exercise, students gain professional coaching certifications from Basketball Ireland and the FAI. 

This course is suitable for you if you have a strong interest in sport and exercise science and wish to pursue a career in high performance sport, a clinical profession (e.g. physiotherapy, dietetics, medicine) and/or scientific research in sport and health sciences.
