This TV Presenting & Film Production PLC course provides students with the advanced knowledge and skills to pursue careers in various areas of TV and Film production and presenting. Students will explore all aspects of Film and Television giving them a knowledge of both behind and in front of the camera. Students will have the opportunity to explore and develop the art of TV Presenting, Interviewing, Autocue and Links to camera as well as Producing, Directing and Editing. Students will have access to professional camera and editing equipment and to assist them in producing a showreel.

The course will develop the artistic and technical skills that are involved in creating characters, stories and worlds using advanced digital technologies. Students will learn the fundamentals of digital design, storytelling, animation principles as well as how to build, light and compose animation sequences and stories.

This course is suitable for those who wish to pursue a career in the Animation industry, but who may not have the drawing skills required to pursue a more-traditional Animation course.

This course is an introduction to 2D and 3D computer game design and development. This course will examine all aspects of computer game production and development from concept to digital art, 3D Modelling and Sound Design. Successful learners will acquire a comprehensive knowledge of game design and development techniques and theory as well as an extensive portfolio of work including a number of individually crafted games.

This unique course is the first 3D animation undergraduate degree in Ireland. It will allow you to understand the highly artistic and technical practices that are involved in creating characters, stories and worlds using advanced digital technologies.

Learn both advanced technical and creative skills to understand 3D animation pipelines, including character, design, world building, animation principles, lighting, rendering along with other specialised areas.
