This structure ensures that theoretical knowledge is immediately reinforced by real-world application in a professional kitchen environment.

This is a one year course ideally suited to the practically oriented student. On completion of this course, students sit QQI Examinations. Successful candidates will go on to further training in DIT or ITs. Students may also seek direct entry to the Catering Industry. Work experience forms an integral part of the course.
