Our BSc Paramedicine degree, offered by the College of Medicine and Health, will prepare you for work as a Paramedic practitioner in the pre-hospital environment. The course will provide you with a variety of modules in numerous settings including modules in theory and clinical practice.

In addition, you will participate in ambulance-supervised placements and multiple clinical settings such as emergency departments, coronary care units etc. 

This is a level 7, introductory programme for someone preparing for ministry leadership in the Church. The Payroll (Manual and Computerized) module is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the systems used to manage employee compensation and statutory deductions. You will gain a dual-competency approach, mastering the fundamental logic of manual payroll calculations—including PAYE, PRSI, and USC—before transitioning to industry-standard payroll software. The course covers the full payroll cycle, from processing new starters and leavers to managing Year End procedures and Revenue reporting

This module is a comprehensive training program designed to master the dual pillars of modern financial administration. You will begin by learning the fundamental mechanics of manual payroll, developing a deep understanding of how to calculate gross pay, statutory deductions—such as PAYE, PRSI, and USC—and voluntary deductions. The Pre-University PE Teaching & Sports Studies course is designed to provide you with a range of skills and aims to prepare for a career in teaching, coaching, strength and conditioning. You will study the theory of Sport and Recreation, Exercise and Fitness and a range of team coaching awards that are immediately relevant to this dynamic, energetic and fast-moving sector.

You will study the theory required to gain an understanding of the various elements of the sport and fitness industry. This combination of practical and theory-based study will support you to access a range of career opportunities including PE teaching, Strength and Conditioning, Sport and Recreation Management. You can progress direct to work, or to additional Further and Higher Education.

This BFA degree offers a broad and holistic approach to the performing arts, one that not only concentrates on performance from a participatory perspective (that is to say, on being a performer), but also prepares the student for the wide and exciting range of careers available in the performing arts industry. While performance remains a central aspect of the programme, students are also prepared for the vast array of work that supports and produces performance, such as directing and staging, creating written material for performance, production, management, marketing and funding of the performing arts.

The programme is based around live theatrical performance (with elements of recording used for diagnostic and development purposes), but at the same time a graduate is prepared for further study in all cognate specialisms in the performing arts, as well as entry into a professional career.
