Common Entry is a very popular choice with students. You avail of a broad common Years 1 & 2 which will introduce you to various essential business topics along with tasters in more specific business areas. Having gained a better understanding of each subject area, you then choose your preferred pathway to specialise in Years 3 & 4.

The advantage of this course type is that it allows students more time to discover the subjects in which they are most interested.

This honours degree programme will help students to appreciate fully the vital business roles played by finance, accounting, marketing, human resource management and information technology. Students have the option to specialise their degree in the 3rd year. 

This business degree will enable learners to fully appreciate the vital business roles played by finance, digital technology, sales, consumer behaviour, entrepreneurship, marketing, human resource management, and information technology. This broad introduction to many business functions can lead to a diverse range of career opportunities.

Students have the flexibility to switch to the BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance after Year One or the BA (Hons) in Business (HRM) or BA (Hons) in Business (Marketing) after Year Two.

This course prepares graduates for a career in business. Students develop skills in key areas of business including: management, marketing, economics, accounting and law. The applied nature of the course is designed to provide you with the skills needed to succeed in your chosen area of business.

This programme will prepare students to obtain employment in the Financial Services Industry or for progression to relevant programmes at third level through the Higher Education Links Scheme.  Aaran completed the course in 2019 - 'this course with the help from tutors in the college, has enabled me to accept a place in DCU in an accounting and finance course level 8'.  Jack also completed the course in 2019 and progressed to Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Business in NCI.
