The Creative Design programme at ATU Sligo gives students the skills and experience needed to become an industry-ready designer to work in many different areas to suit their design interests. Graduates of this degree are designing cars, apps, medical devices, and are working in design areas such as graphics, electronic products, start-ups and more.

Creative digital media combines the creativity of art and design with the skills and knowledge of computer technologies and programming to create interactive digital media products. This Creative Digital Media course equips students with essential skills needed to thrive in the rapidly evolving landscape of digital media. Through hands-on projects, students gain practical experience and develop a deep understanding of the tools, techniques, and strategies utilised in the industry. By exploring cross-platform software on Apple Macs and Windows PCs, students learn to plan, design, and produce visually captivating websites enriched with a wide range of multimedia features. Industry-standard software such as Premiere Pro is used for recording and editing digital media, enabling students to create professional video content.

This full-time one-year programme provides students with an understanding of the digital skills required for a range of industries like web design, software development, games design, programming and digital marketing, among others. Students will also have an option to complete Microsoft Power BI which provides students with an opportunity to be versed in the most up-to-date data visualization software.

This Professional Certificate in Creative Hospitality introduces the learner to concepts of authenticity and shared experience in their work by adopting the fundamental principles and theories of hospitality, that is the practice of welcoming strangers.

A course designed for those who have an interest in computer graphics, digital animation, cinematography, digital film editing and the craft of film production. Students will get a good working knowledge of film production technologies and training in the use of the Adobe Creative Suite of software.
