In this course, you’ll gain detailed knowledge and understanding of the technical, economic, legal, financial, managerial and administrative framework within which the construction industry operates. You’ll also learn about the specialised areas of cost and value management, tender documentation, procurement, construction administration and management.

Quantity Surveyors have expertise in cost planning and controlling of construction projects, estimating, procurement, tendering and contracts administrative processes. In Year 3, a four-month work placement provides an opportunity for practical learning for each student.

Classes take place one evening per week online with a few Saturdays on campus in the National Film School audio lab and radio studio.
