Radiographers are responsible for producing high-quality images to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. While radiography is a caring profession, it’s also one that requires considerable technological and scientific expertise in both the production of images and the responsible delivery of ionising radiation. Our aim is to prepare graduate radiographers to meet the everyday challenges arising from ongoing advances in diagnostic imaging and healthcare.

This accelerated Radiography training course has been developed to allow graduates from a wide variety of academic backgrounds to study with us. The content of this programme has been developed with respect to national requirements for radiography training as published by CORU, the Health and Social Care Professions Regulator, and by the Irish Institute of Radiography and Radiation Therapy (IIRT). As such, the programme supports robust learning of the underpinning core sciences and facilitates knowledge and skills development across the spectrum of radiographic and imaging techniques.

This programme combines health, fitness, sports and exercise related modules with core Business modules. The programme prepares students to work in the business, sports and leisure sector of the economy and provides them with the specialist skills and competencies needed in these industries.

The new BA (Honours) in Recruitment Practice is a three-year apprenticeship degree created in partnership with the Employment and Recruitment Federation (ERF). This recruitment apprenticeship programme is the first of its kind in Ireland and there are no other Level 8 degree programmes in recruitment or qualifications in recruitment that are on the National Framework of Qualifications.

This programme seeks to provide the appropriate education and training to allow successful graduates be registered with SOLAS as a Recruitment Executive apprentice. The programme will provide an alternative talent pipeline to the recruitment industry and offer a new career path for candidates. The course is open to mature students, school leavers, current recruiters and anyone looking for a career change.

A refrigeration and air conditioning craftsperson installs, maintains and repairs all types of refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment and systems. They can work in industries such as domestic, marine, commercial and industrial. They can install, maintain and repair items such as household, hospital, hotel and shop refrigerators, display cabinets, deep freezers, cooling plants, cold rooms and refrigerated transport.

If you are interested in working in the tourism activity sector providing a range of professional guiding services for visitors, the Local and Regional Guiding programme is designed for you. This programme will provide you with the professional, social, technical and administrative skills necessary to offer a quality service to domestic and overseas visitors.

This exciting programme will provide participants with the skills, knowledge and competencies required to provide a comprehensive guiding service for tourists visiting and travelling in Ireland. It will be relevant, practical and up-to-date with industry needs and follow best practice guidelines. The programme comprises two modules: Irish Tour Guiding and Irish Natural Heritage and Culture.

Tourism is one of the fastest growing industries in Ireland. A recent report by the Irish Hotels Federation (IHF) forecasts an additional 40,000 jobs in the tourism sector by 2021. In 2018, Tourism Ireland aims to grow overseas tourism revenue to €6 billion for the island of Ireland; and to grow visitor numbers to 10.8 million.

The purpose of this award (which was developed in collaboration with Fáilte Ireland) is to enable learners to acquire the relevant knowledge, skills and competencies to work effectively as a Tourist Guide in the greater Dublin Region and surrounding area. It also provides learners with the necessary business skills needed to start their own tour guiding business.

This innovative program is tailored for individuals passionate about contributing to the rehabilitation and holistic well-being of patients through therapeutic activities and rehabilitation therapy. The course aims to train students to manage and deliver therapeutic activities within healthcare environments effectively. Focusing on physical, mental, and social well-being, the program prepares students to create engaging therapeutic programs tailored to individual patient needs, promoting comprehensive rehabilitation and recovery processes.

This course encourages and enables students to engage Religion plays a significant role in diverse cultural, social and political contexts. Religious world-views, values and symbols play a critical role in shaping cultural norms, traditions and practices. This is the case both in religiously plural contexts, as well as those dominated by particular traditions.
