A 2 year course in classical hand-drawn and computer animation, including character animation, 3d modelling, animating for Feature, TV or Games. This course gives budding artists the chance to express themselves artistically through the medium of animation, both classical (hand-drawn) and computer generated. This dynamic course provides the skills to take individual and group projects from conception to completion. The course aims to enable the student to develop a comprehensive understanding of the principles and techniques employed by the professional animator and to acquire the requisite skills for entry into feature, TV or computer game animation.

History of Art and Architecture is about the study of images, objects and buildings. It is unique in developing high levels of visual literacy applicable to a range of career pathways. It explores why works of art look the way they do and seeks to discover what they say about the societies that created them. The study of Classical Languages is concerned with the language, literature and thought of either Ancient Greece or Ancient Rome. You will choose to study either Greek or Latin. Through the reading of literature in the original language and the examination of key aspects of ancient history, you will develop a thorough knowledge of the classical world and a critical approach to textual and material culture.

Students combine this subject with their choice of French or German.
