The Bachelor of Education through the Medium of Irish is aimed at students who wish to teach through the medium of Irish in Gaeltacht schools or in All-Irish Schools.

This one year course aims to provide students with the opportunity to develop essential knowledge and practical skills to work in the rapidly growing Construction and Renewable Energy sector who wish to seek entry to Apprenticeships / SOLAS (FAS) / Further Training. It also prepares students for progression to third-level. It gives students a taste of all the main construction trades including carpentry & joinery and building construction. Students will also gain significant on-site experience with some of the largest construction companies in the area.

The Carpentry Techniques course is practical in nature and aims to prepare students to find employment with small and large contractors as apprentices or trainee carpenters.

This course in Carpentry Techniques, which focuses on passive house building techniques and "Nearly Zero Energy Building" (NZEB) standards, aims to produce graduates who are equipped to work in the rapidly changing landscape of today's wood construction industry.

This ten-week intermediate course advances the skills established in Screen Acting - Level 1, focusing on refined performance techniques for film and television. Students will deepen their technical proficiency by working closely with camera equipment and gaining a professional understanding of various crew roles and set dynamics.

The course will develop the artistic and technical skills that are involved in creating characters, stories and worlds using advanced digital technologies. Students will learn the fundamentals of digital design, storytelling, animation principles as well as how to build, light and compose animation sequences and stories.

This course is suitable for those who wish to pursue a career in the Animation industry, but who may not have the drawing skills required to pursue a more-traditional Animation course.

This course is an introduction to 2D and 3D computer game design and development. This course will examine all aspects of computer game production and development from concept to digital art, 3D Modelling and Sound Design. Successful learners will acquire a comprehensive knowledge of game design and development techniques and theory as well as an extensive portfolio of work including a number of individually crafted games.

This unique course is the first 3D animation undergraduate degree in Ireland. It will allow you to understand the highly artistic and technical practices that are involved in creating characters, stories and worlds using advanced digital technologies.

Learn both advanced technical and creative skills to understand 3D animation pipelines, including character, design, world building, animation principles, lighting, rendering along with other specialised areas.
