Fundamentals of coaching science, pedagogy and professional practices in sports coaching are delivered through evidence-based and evidence-informed theory to the learning while also providing the opportunity to learn and apply the practical skills required to create a positive learning environment for individual athletes and/or teams.

he BSc (Hons) in Sports Coaching provides students (aspiring coaches) with advanced coaching techniques, styles, and education through a variety of sports (e.g. team, individual, outdoor pursuit), including inclusivity and disabilities. This multidisciplinary programme will ensure students learn effective coaching techniques and have a scientific understanding of anatomy, physiology, sport psychology, fundamentals of movement, talent development, and the ability to analyse and critique technique. Students will be provided with a basic understanding of Recreation theory and health concepts in a variety of subject areas.
