Editing, mixing and production take place in a state-of-the-art all iMac digital sound production facility. This course is designed for individuals with existing outdoor qualifications, this course focuses on advanced instructorship, group leadership, and environmental education. Learners gain a broad range of awards across multiple disciplines, preparing them to work within organizations or launch their own businesses.

This course provides learners with an opportunity to achieve up to five instructorship awards in canoeing, sea kayaking, rock climbing, orienteering and trail cycling as well as the training required to become a mountain leader. Students gain comprehensive, hands-on experience in single-camera location shooting and multi-camera studio production, covering everything from scripts, storyboards, and budgets to filming documentaries, dramas, and news packages using professional digital equipment. Additionally, the curriculum provides intensive training in post-production—including industry-standard Avid Media Composer editing, green screen special effects, color grading, and audio correction—while teaching students how to navigate distribution, festivals, and competitions to launch their media careers.

This one year full-time Apprenticeship Preparatory Programme course provides learners with the foundation required to pursue an apprenticeship in the building trades. In this course, panel wiring and motor control for both domestic and industrial installations. All associated electrical theory will be comprehensively covered. This phase of training includes installation, commissioning, testing and maintenance of various wiring systems and services in domestic, commercial and industrial applications. Phase 2 is one component of the full seven‑phase apprenticeship, which includes four on‑the‑job phases with an employer and three off‑the‑job phases in an educational environment..

The aim of this programme is to enable the learner to acquire the knowledge, skill and competence to work in television studio production, crew roles, or in single camera crew roles in a managed environment in a range of television and film production contexts, or to progress to further or higher education and training. Students will acquire practical skills in both Film and Television Production, including single-camera production, non-linear film, and video editing. Through the study of Media Analysis, students gain knowledge of how the relationship between the producer, the advertiser, and the audience impact one another.
