This course is designed to give the student a firm foundation in the skills and knowledge required in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector. Students study a range of subjects, which reflects the versatility that IT has in society today. The course is oriented towards the development of technical skills such as Programming, Application Development, Cybersecurity and Problem Solving. This course may also be of interest to graduates with qualifications in non-computer disciplines who wish to pursue training in this area.

Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the various methods and roles involved in selling and managing property in Ireland to include legal structures, taxation and marketing strategies. Students will also understand the economic factors influencing property and property valuation methods while developing their IT skills through the use of Excel in compiling reports, rent roll management, maintenance schedules, quotations, valuations, market analysis and tenant communication logs.

Property economics is concerned with all aspects of property: investment, asset management, development, valuation and research, with a focus on finance and the commercial property market sector.

This course will prepare you for a career in commercial property investment and development – i.e. retail (shopping), office and industrial. You can go on to work in valuation surveying, real estate, property investment and management, auctioneering and estate agency in Ireland and abroad. 

This is a four year honours degree programme incorporating three academic years and one full year of industrial work placement in third year. The aim of the programme is to develop a property professional who possesses the knowledge, skills and competencies required to work in the diverse sectors of the property industry such as valuation, estate agency, marketing, property management, investment, development, corporate real estate, research and land-use planning.

Psychiatric/Mental Health nursing is a specialist field within the health care profession. It involves an interpersonal caring process which acknowledges the uniqueness of each person. The psychiatric nurse is concerned with the promotion of mental health, the prevention of mental illness and the provision of care to those with mental health problems.

The B.A. (Honours) in Psychology will help you explore how the brain works and help you make sense of the human impact on the world in which we live. This interdisciplinary three year degree course in Psychology offers students the opportunity to follow a major course in psychology alongside minor study in an associate humanities discipline. Psychology is the scientific study of behavior and mental processes.

As such, the mission of the BA (Honours) in Psychology is to help students learn to think like psychologists. To achieve this goal, students generate and evaluate empirical evidence while considering theoretical perspectives of the discipline.
