Graduates will be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of equine breeding skills and pasture management together with theoretical and abstract thinking concepts related to breeding horses, horse conformation and pasture management. The QQI Level 6 award in Equine Breeding is classed as an advanced certificate and meets the requirements for The Green Certificate and Young Trained Farmer status.

The ESE Academy (E-Cubers) has partnered with the University of Limerick (UL) to deliver Ireland’s first Equipment Systems Engineering apprenticeship at level 9 (MEng).

This Apprenticeship programme provides experienced engineers with a comprehensive framework to manage the implementation of Industry 4.0 innovations in their employer’s equipment. This two-year MEng, in conjunction with vibrant Communities of Practice (CoP), provides an ideal framework for the apprentice to comprehensively and efficiently evaluate both disruptive and sustaining innovation solutions. After they have qualified as Equipment Systems Engineers (ESEs), learners will be able to remain engaged with the CoPs throughout their long and productive careers.

This course will prepare students for entrance into Arts or European Studies programmes in Third Level institutions. It will also give students essential skills in two European languages: French and Spanish.

This one year add-on Honours Degree follows on from the Degree in Event Management to give students an in-depth knowledge of the Event and Hospitality industry and generate superb employment opportunities.
