This degree integrates Software Design and Development skills, with the Computing Systems on which applications are deployed, and an understanding of the DevOps tools and processes to manage their delivery. The sports and exercise elements of the course develop professional and leadership skills in activities enjoyed by the general population throughout their lifespan.

Students will learn the theory and evidence-based principles of nursing to help people prevent and overcome illness and enable them to take ownership of their own health and well-being. Students will learn the practice of nursing by working with registered nurses in clinical areas who act as mentors, assisting students to apply their knowledge and skills to real-life situations.

Over the duration of the course, students will develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to meet the specific needs of people with an intellectual disability in a safe, competent, and compassionate manner. Student’s academic and clinical knowledge will be developed throughout this rewarding course using simulated learning environments and modern learning spaces.
