You’ll be equipped with the fundamental engineering, management and design skills you need to design electrical services for facilities and manage the energy consumption in facilities.

This course will educate you to an honours level in electrical and electronic engineering. It meets the educational standard required for chartered engineering membership of Engineers Ireland.

Architectural Technology is an immersive, full-time course, which will prepare you for practice and requires attendance five days a week. TU835 BSc in Spatial Planning and Environmental Management is designed to prepare and equip you with the skills to be a decision-maker and expert practitioner in planning our urban and rural environments. Now more than ever, graduates are needed who can develop and implement environmental management solutions to critical problems such as climate change and biodiversity loss.

Property economics is concerned with all aspects of property: investment, asset management, development, valuation and research, with a focus on finance and the commercial property market sector.

This course will prepare you for a career in commercial property investment and development – i.e. retail (shopping), office and industrial. You can go on to work in valuation surveying, real estate, property investment and management, auctioneering and estate agency in Ireland and abroad. 

This course will prepare you for a career in the construction industry – whether you want to work as a quantity surveyor and economic advisor or manager or as building development co-ordinator and manager.

In this course, you’ll gain detailed knowledge and understanding of the technical, economic, legal, financial, managerial and administrative framework within which the construction industry operates. You’ll also learn about the specialised areas of cost and value management, tender documentation, procurement, construction administration and management. 

Sustainable Timber Technology is an exciting 4-year, full-time immersive course featuring a mix of theoretical and skills-based modules. It supports students in development of skills and knowledge that enable them to take on technical and managerial roles throughout the timber industry once graduated, including in sawmills and board mills, factories making timber construction, joinery and furniture, innovation and technical sales.

That breadth is unique in Ireland. The programme is well supported by industry. Placement takes place in Year 3.

The programme emphasizes practical application through industry partnerships, live projects, and case studies drawn from real information systems and digital transformation initiatives.
