The aim of this one year full time course is to provide the learner with the opportunity to acquire the knowledge, skill and competence to work independently and under supervision as a practitioner in the music industry and or to progress to further and or higher education and training. The programme focuses on music technology and radio production.

The students will gain knowledge of music theory and its practical application to musical styles and genres including writing their own songs. Students explore the structure of the music industry in addition to gaining practical skills in recording and producing music in a modern production environment. Students also learn how to plan and organise events as part of the course.

In addition, the Medical Terminology module equips the learner with the knowledge, skill and competence in the range of medical terminology applicable and relevant specifically to a medical receptionist or secretarial role in a medical practice, clinic and or hospital context.
