Trauma informed therapy is a way of working with clients that recognises how traumatic experiences can impact on all domains of being across human development, including behavioural, physical, mental, emotional, spiritual.

The objective in training in Trauma Informed Practices is to understand what trauma is, and what it is not. The purpose of the IICP College Trauma Informed module is to support learners in increasing their understanding of trauma through theoretical knowledge, practice based experiential exercises, and group work.

The travel, tourism and hospitality industry is today the largest and most pervasive sector within the global economy. The need to provide quality services in a business-oriented manner requires management leadership in all the main functional business areas (finance, marketing, human resource management and operations) as well as strategic leadership. ABE’s TTH qualifications provide a pathway through which students can develop a combination of key business skills and industry knowledge in preparation for the varied and exciting careers which the industry offers. The Diploma qualification consists of nine units. Learners must complete all seven mandatory units, plus two optional units. All units are mandatory to pass the Written Examination.

This one year Travel, Tourism and Airline Studies course provides a comprehensive overview of the global travel and tourism industry, with a special focus on the airline sector. Students will explore key aspects of the industry, including destination management, customer service, travel logistics, and the economics of airlines. The course combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills, preparing students for a variety of careers in tourism management, airline operations, and related fields.

This course will give you the opportunity to gain work placement with major media companies in Ireland and train in technical media production skills. It is a fully funded training programme which includes software, equipment, guest speakers, industry certification and excursions. Work and Train with likeminded media professionals in an exciting environment while gaining the skills to enable you to work in the TV & Film industry.

Applicants who are currently in receipt of a Social Welfare payment may continue to receive that payment for the duration of the course.

This course is designed to provide learners with an introduction to key skills required to work in the Film & TV sector. Students will develop an understanding of scripting, storyboarding, capturing and editing video and post production using industry standard software in a modern production suite.

This course is designed for those who wish to up-skill for employment or prepare a portfolio for TV and Film or Media Studies in higher education. Students will gain practical hands on experience, learn about the Film industry and have full access to the Adobe Creative Suite for the duration of the course.

TV & Media Production is a practical, hands-on course. You will work in groups and individually to develop ideas from script to screen. This course teaches a wide range of skills covering each stage of media production. Research and producing, script writing, camera work, graphics, audio and video editing are all taught over the three years - providing a solid, practical foundation for future work in the media industry. 

The Bachelor of Science Honours degree in TV and Media Production is a hands-on course where students find themselves completely immersed in the practical world of media production.

The QQI Level 5 award in Animal Care (5M2768) is a comprehensive course aimed at individuals interested in pursuing careers in animal care. Its primary objective is to equip students with the necessary knowledge, skills and competencies to meet the needs of animals under supervision across various animal care settings. Additionally the course serves as a pathway for further education and training in the field.
